We at Barkins respect your right to privacy. We have developed Privacy Procedures for the collection and storage of personal information that comply with Privacy Legislation in Australia.

The information collected is protected from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration. We do not provide or sell personal information to other organisations.

We take care to ensure that the personal information you give us on our website is protected.

You may be able to access external websites by clicking on links we have provided. These websites are not subject to our privacy standards, policies and procedures. You will need to contact or review these websites directly to ascertain their privacy standards, policies and procedures.

Customer Profiles
When you submit your personal information using the Sign Up Form, all information is retained solely for our internal records. Where customers agree to being contacted, this information is utilised to send relevant information, and to assist our understanding of our customers’ preferences and product requirements.

Website
When you visit the Barkins website, information is collected relating to some aspects of your visit. This information cannot be used to identify an individual and is used only to provide us with an understanding of how users interact with the website. This information includes web pages viewed; the amount of time spent viewing the site; the type of browser; a visitor’s country of origin.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect from them, how we use it, and under what circumstances.
If at any point we decide that we wish to use personally identifiable information collected from our users in a manner that differs from that stated at the time this information was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice whether or not to consent to our using their personal information in accordance with our updated privacy policy.

Returns & Echanges Policy
Any item purchased on-line for refund or exchange must be unworn, unwashed and have the original tags still attached. All returns must be received by BARKINS within 3 weeks of order date.

For your convenience items purchased on-line may be returned for exchange (only, refunds must be returned to the online store) at any of our Barkins stores under the above conditions. Please bring with you your receipt and the credit card used to make the original purchase if applicable.

RETURNS FOR REFUND

To receive a refund you need to post your purchase to the address below. Please include the receipt with the goods you are returning marked. Refunds will be credited against your original method of purchase, excluding delivery charges which are not refundable.

RETURNS FOR EXCHANGE

Items can only be exchanged for an alternate size or colour of the original style purchased. Should you wish to exchange for an alternative size or colour please enclose with your goods a postage paid, self addressed bag sufficient to return your purchase to you. All postage costs will be covered by the customer. Should stock no longer be available to exchange for colour or size, a refund will be made crediting your original method of purchase.

Late Returns
Items should be returned within 3 weeks of the order date. Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted at the discretion of BARKINS and may only be refunded as a store credit.



Faulty goods
Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
